The Baja 1000, run by SCORE International, is the most famous off-road race in the world — a gruelling desert race down Mexico’s Baja California peninsula from Ensenada, across open desert, silt beds and mountain trails. The 2017 running marked the race’s 50th anniversary.

Alexander raced a spec Baja Challenge car (No. 5) with Wide Open Baja at the 50th-anniversary 2017 Baja 1000, finishing 11th in class and 190th overall.
