Five days, five circuits and ten special stages of historic road racing.

The Modena Cento Ore is one of Europe’s great modern historic road races — run by Canossa Events over four to five days, combining timed special stages on closed public roads with sessions on Italy’s historic racing circuits. The 2025 running marked the event’s 25th anniversary, drawing more than 100 historic cars, from pre-war machines to post-war models up to 1988. The field is split into two formats: an all-out Competition category, and a Regularity category, where success is measured by precision — holding set target times rather than outright speed.

The week travelled the length of the country from Rome to Modena — through Viterbo, Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Florence, Cervia, Rimini and San Marino — with circuit sessions at Vallelunga, Magione, Mugello, Misano and Imola.

KR Racing entered the 1961 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight 3.8 roadster and finished 3rd — a podium earned across a demanding week of mountain roads, closed stages and historic circuits, for a car built to cover exactly this mix.
