The historic Tour Auto — special stages and circuit races across France.

The Tour Auto is the modern revival of the Tour de France Automobile, organised by Peter Auto for cars eligible from the original 1951–1973 event. The 2025 edition started in Paris and ran for five days across France, combining timed special stages on closed public roads with races against the clock on circuit. The field of roughly 250–300 historic cars is split between a Competition class for fully prepared, licensed cars and a Regularity class.

KR Racing contested the 2025 Tour Auto in the 1954 Porsche 356 Speedster, finishing 91st of 250 after a hard-fought week. The Speedster ran with significant mechanical trouble across the five days, and getting it to the finish at all owed much to the car’s preparation and the team’s work between stages — a result earned the hard way, in a season that also took the little Porsche to the Mille Miglia and Modena Cento Ore.
