High-speed desert and rock racing in California’s Johnson Valley.

King of the Hammers is one of the toughest weeks in off-road motorsport — run by Ultra4 around “Hammertown,” the temporary city that springs up each winter in California’s Johnson Valley. It blends flat-out desert racing with technical rock-crawling trails, drawing trophy trucks, Ultra4 cars and desert machinery from around the world.

KR Racing campaigned a Brenthel Industries trophy truck (No. 6110) with Brenthel Industries Racing at the 2 February 2025 desert race, finishing 16th out of 50.
